I’m only speaking from experience. I had to wear some gloves backwards for a cosplay once and it was the stupidest most uncomfortable thing but it worked by god.
Final Fantasy VII is the bee’s knees. I got it, have played only up to the Shinra building, but I finally understand so many of the references this comic made over the years. It honestly made the game itself 5X as funny because, as we all know,
As for why the scene:
I needed to show them blasting off, but kinda needed a joke. Eikre lost his one glove earlier, so this gives him his glove back with a goofy joke at his vanity.
I'm glad you're enjoying FF7! Definitely my favorite RPG. Try Super Mario RPG next. That's my second favorite.
It is honestly, snort-laughingly hilarious. Though most of it is physical humor, which can look weird on the snes. The gameplay, as you have seen, requires more skill input than most rpgs in battles, which, in most people’s opinions, improves it further. Like DoomDragon6 said, it’s pretty easy too. All around, if you got a lazy Sunday, here’s the perfect game for it.
It popularized action commands in RPGs and is pretty much the only way you'll ever know who Geno is (due to licensing issues :( ).
A definite must as far as SNES RPGs go. As mentioned it's pretty easy so you should probably avoid grinding (the level cap is 30 and you don't need to go that high to beat the game) but has so many secrets that you can easily double your playtime trying to get them all.
Oooh, didn't expect a 3-way party split. This is gonna be like the BEST PART of FF6. We can have Dragobo and Howard meet a feral boy on the galt, while Eikre and Diane recruit a general of an evil organization with a heart of gold!
I'm guessing the pod with Diane, Eikre, and Rabble are going back to the monster city to help them, Dragobo and Howard are probably returning to the Muggles, and the rest of the party...heads to the ruins of Galgarion's old lair? At least that's how I'd see this breaking down if it were an actual game I was playing.
Also ah, that's what happened to the former party. Suuuuuuuuure would be a shame if later on those escape pods were needed for actual escaping. ;3

Sigh...times are tough.

It's full of character, heart, and LOTs of secrets.
Only problem is it's too easy for experienced RPG players, but it can give you a run for your money.
Highly recommend as a must-play.
