... Okay!! I started in April 2019 and the Skuuba Arc started August 2019. So just barely!! 4 month difference. Can you believe we've been underwater for nearly 3 years?? It'll have been nearly 100 pages. Wild. Also, really makes me think this comic will just continue another 15 years if you include all the hiatuses that are going to happen.

You could just do a classic Ian J.Q. and post about what you're into at the moment. I love that in the original RPG W he's down there talking about Smash Bros Melee and Wind Waker rather than the actual comic. Makes for a great time capsule. How are you liking Obi Wan or Our Flag Means Death? Excited about the finale of The Owl House? Y'know, current stuff.
Anyway, loving the arc, as usual, I know week to week feels like a ponderously slow pace, but when you read the pages all at once the pacing feels both suspenseful and exciting.
Obi-Wan: I never cared for Star Wars. I watched the first two episodes and sadly just didn't care.
Owl House: I actually just started this! I've heard it's great, but it's starting.. real slow?? Compared to something like Gravity Falls I'm not gripped yet
Game wise: Frickin FF7 Rebirth teaser just dropped??? And I have so many conflicting thoughts about it. I've gone down a lore refresher rabbit hole from which I cannot escape.
I tried to start Owl House twice and similarly didn't feel gripped. There's an episode fairly early called Covention, about going to witch's coven convention, and that one is really good. I'd encourage you to push through to that one and if you're still not gripped then you can call it a day guilt-free.
I still haven't played FF7 reboot. I just have lost my patience for turn-based rpgs, ya know? Actually, I take that back, I love a Fire Emblem or an FFTactics, but Attack/Magic/Item/Special? Dunno about that.
Either this boss is intentionally overpowered or the party needs to do some SERIOUS level grinding.
On the plus side, those relationship points Reka grinded out with Tuna might be paying off soon.
You could talk about how things would be different in the actual game vs. what you've narratively gone with. Like for instance if this battle would be scripted or not and if the difficulty would be the same or this is just bad luck for the party or they were seriously underprepared for the fight.
