I like Atari’s design for this lil Skuuba. She’s cute. Also- isn’t he putting entirely too much work into the backgrounds here?? He could totally get away with some gradients but we’ve got unique backgrounds and NPCs.
I wanna come up with some rules for an RPGW card game. Might be fun.
Also: World’s first underwater moth, everybody. Round of applause for the dead moth.
Yikes, I dunno. Remember when the Goblins webcomic had a kickstarter and then some rando ended up stealing like a million dollars from the fans? Not cool.
Yeah, that would be one heck of a headache for someone to see their own faces posed on cards.
Although considering it is their CURRENT designs and not, say, late-game or even initial encounter... And then there's the fact that as far as we can tell there's no cards with Team B on them or the villains or even random mobs.
Although the fact that they have 0 cash would imply that the game's got some poor coding work. Typically if you have less than or 0 G left, you'd be unable to actually pony up the losing bet. But because you can't... maybe they'll trigger a debt or jail sequence where they have to pay off the gold in some other way, as happens in some other rpgs (although more commonly in special events).
As for the moth... well, everyone in the city is alive and breathing so I think as long as it stays within city limits it should be fine. The real problem is that the underwater city likely has no natural predators to a moth. Hopefully its just ONE moth.
You can't tell me there wasn't any invasive species coming in from the surface during the rare times when people from the surface (or physical items being transported down). Granted I'm mostly thinking of the damn lanternflies in real life, along with animals like rabbits and snakes and carps and cats. Then there's plants like kudzu.
