Hopefully Shiro was out of reach of that explosion. Perry's probably fine, being ranged. (I love the use of the arm as a crossbow bolt ^_^ )
I don't think either of the others was in danger.
Time to see how exp is divvied up for the two interns.
Is it like pokemon, where they earn multiple levels at once?
Is it like MMOs, where they barely get any exp at all (if any) because of the level difference between them and the others?
Or does everyone get exactly 1 level from the boss fight, regardless of how close to leveling they were?
Also, this is the perfect time for Hero and Cherry to finish the door fight. (So long as it doesn't have an insta-death attack when at low HP. That could be interesting to toy with, so long as it doesn't actually hit.)
Kinda think their limit breaks should have been "Armed and Dangerous" and "Arm Cannon" since these will be the only times they'll ever be used (at least game-wise).
In five years you can go on the commentary for your book and write "Originally this comic was called Crisis Core, but a fan suggested this title instead and I'll be damned if I'll waste a good joke." It'll be cool behind the scenes info. Also when do you reckon you'll compile these pages into a book? I don't know what the legal hoops are for publishing fan fiction.
It's the same issue that Star Wars RPG podcasts have with monetization. Maybe he'd be cool with it with an email. He did say back in 2006 or whenever that anybody could pick up his story and finish it after all.
All the people who missed the comic a day late: This is so cool!
The people who got up at 1 AM to view it: it's been out for over a day.. why are you so late?

And Armed and Dangerous would have been a perfect page title
I'm slipping
Don't be surprised if you see an edited page later
That's one of the advantages of working on the internet. You can change things later, for the better. (So long as you don't overdo it)
Problem is, I could definitely see Ian having a problem with me producing and selling fan books of his work
