If any one object in the game lets you inspect it, I WILL inspect every single object in the game. God help me if it says something different the second time you inspect it.

Atari really does go above and beyond. I initially had the script as Hero just scooting along a single row of boxes and told him he could just copy and paste him across the board. What did he do? EVERY SINGLE PANEL UNIQUE. Atari, you work too hard man.

Ok, Cherry, tell me this: if all boxes give the same text when searching, why are you searching through a box?

(2 minutes later, while at the same box)
"You got a Box of Parts"
"Looks like everything is here. I knew it was a good idea to take 20 on that check!"
(Totally out of character for her though)

probably because in many RGPs when the party splits up to search for stuff, the player controls the hero to run around looking, and the rest of the party either stands next to one box the entire time or paths between a couple points to look like they're searching too.

True. On the other hand, most games don't comment on your search patterns.

You say that, but some do. It wouldn't be surprising to have Cherry comment on it if this were an actual game.

And as noted, some reward you for going above and beyond normal poke everything gameplay.

If I ever, somehow, make a game based on RPG World, I promise Cherry will comment on every little thing.

I remember your sketch-post of this scene! I did not think there'd be so many bubbles or that it'd take place underwater at the time.

Think this is bad? In games where there can be a hidden "chest" ANYWHERE, this is like 50% of my time spent on a play through. God help if there are puzzle elements that require exiting the screen and re-entering to reset the puzzle so you can reach different areas (or unreachable areas until you get a certain key item).

This is my new favorite Hero page.

God forbid he learn about the Police Chief's desk in RE2 though.
