Oh boy! I’ve been excited for these pages. Atari did a PHENOMENAL job on the artwork, aesthetics, character design, and everything. He really did way more than he had to for these.

He didn’t have to go that hard, but he did. He did it for us.

You’ll also notice that we’re in a brand new CHAPTER! No more “Post Hiatus 551+” for us! No sir! We’re in “The City of the Skuuba!” now!

We’ve got a lot of fun stuff coming up. As always, it’ll be slow going (only one page a week), but we hope you bear with us and enjoy! I know I’ve really enjoyed working on this chapter so I hope you do too.

Also: Atari continues his penchant for *ehem* well endowed women, so I’m just going to drop this little gif right here.

So, so many things to comment on. Someone is going to need to gag Cherry or they'll be there all day listening to her whine and complain about how little sense pretty much everything in their current situation makes.
The design reminds me of 90's RPG underwater city designs (same design as an above-water castle with a hotel-esc "nautical" theme to it). I want to say Breath of Fire but it's been so long I can't properly remember what that looked like.

And rut-roh, Reka is the only one not confirmed alive yet. Wouldn't it be funny if Piddo and Podderhead had to go on a series of time-traveling misadventures each time Reka has to be brought back from the dead? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I assumed Cherry's role was to be the audience's mouthpiece during this time, hopefully with the payoff being various tropes actually making some sense.

For example, maybe these "aquatic folk" are all mammalian, instead of being "fish people"? Or they're not even a different species at all, just a human group using transformation magics to safely live under the sea.

I'd be on board for that explanation. ^_^
