#564.5 - YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRS
10/30/2018

>
It’s been a while.

Why is the page labeled 564.5? Because I forgot to write this page when preparing my batches, and I already have the next 20 or so labeled. I’m lazy and it’s easier to rename this than relabel 20 pages of scripts, sketches, and pages. ;)

EDIT:
Since there was discourse in the comments, I re-read the entire comic, and since Page 1, 10 canon days have passed.

This really does help bring into focus what the timeline of the comic is though. Because man, I could have sworn it had been at least a couple weeks.

The actual entire story thus far takes place over the course of 4 months!

Or was it 2 months? Dang, I'm getting rusty. I need to check my notes.

EDIT: I re-read the entire comic, and since Page 1, 10 canon days have passed.

Ahem, allow me to nerd up the comment section. I'm pretty confused by RPGW real time. Comic #350 says a "private collector" (I assume Galgarion) sold the Phoenix book to S-Corp two years ago. #350 was written on 2003-04-09, which is about 2 years after the start of the comic. In Comic #42 flashback, Cherry says "Your entire story took place one month ago".

So I'll have to wait til I get home to find my notes, but I have a very solid timeline for the comic. Since the comic started, 8 weeks have passed.

EDIT: I re-read the entire comic, and since Page 1, 10 canon days have passed.

I bet Jim feels really stupid now about that rant he posted on the game forums when Reka died

Welp you have one reader not going anywhere any time soon. Like I said I waited yeeeeeaaaaaaaarrrrs for the story to continue, and if need be I'll do it again.

That means a lot to me, haha thanks! we've got a pretty good system worked out to be stable for now. I'd like to go back to two pages a week but that might strain us too much.

I officially have no idea how the timelime works now.

It's not too crazy, it just takes place over about 4 months :)

Or 2

I forget

As you might already know, I'm writing stories myself...that one time, I asked a visual artist to do an illustration for me.

He even said he'd do it.
I waited 2 years and still nothing.

Then I just finished the story without the illustration.

So yeah, I'm cool with waiting for good things. :)

I love that you reread the entire comic for no good reason. You're in this, man.

Buddy I have read this comic through and through several times, taking painstaking notes, sometimes fully twice in the same day. I am, indeed, in this XD
