This was one of the pages I had a really hard time with. I needed Tuna to run into Cherry and set up that they were going somewhere together, but I had to make it interesting somehow.
I tried a time lapse of them "hanging out and talking" while cherry vented but it didn't really work. I wondered if this should just be a boring transition page. But if I can help it, no page should be boring. I finally landed on "Maybe Tuna can sense auras" and that evolved into this.
I don't think the humor is 100% on brand with RPGW, but it works well enough ?
I think you're overthinking it dude. It really works.
And it's one of the things that makes RPGWorld special; not every page has to be a crowd pleaser. Sometimes they can be simple set ups. Room to breathe. Pillow shots (as Roger Ebert used to call it).
I love that you care that much, and that's what makes this so great. But I hope you're also not too worried with stuff like this because it's a great little moment. Even if it's just build up :)
Haha! I do appreciate that. In all honesty, I used to worry about it a little bit, but I was finally kind of able to let myself just play loose with everything, almost like a cartoon. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be fun.
I'd love to get some "Aura Vision" to see the world from her perspective. Cherry is always going through different stuff and Hero's is just this consistent gold of optimism and questing.
...
I am now both intrigued but terrified by the fact someone might try to combine "Ora Ora" and what the title is actually referencing.
