RPG World! The comic that breaks fourth walls! Fifth walls? Is this breaking the ceiling? What is this?

It’s called the X-Position room, not the “reveal plot details in a timely or efficient manner” room.

In a standard play the actors have the three walls: back, left, right. But when they address the crowd they break through the 4th wall (the front wall) and talk to the audience.
So the 5th would be going up (as in a normal X Y Z grid the upward direction is usually positive) and the 6th wall would be going down.

For a webcomic you can mimic the effect by having several panels be on top of each other with varying transparency. So the strip could be a 3x3x3 grid.

And you ask the audience for input on what the next strip has.

As a reader I find this update both mean, and very funny.

Calling it now, in five years people will look back and call this their favorite panel of the whole reboot.

RPG World is a web comic ABOUT a video game. So technically speaking, all references to video game logic and mechanics is just genre savvy while this is an actual fourth-wall break.

I am freaking losing it on this page. I should be. But I am and I did.
